WEHNER, William, a painter from Munich worked with his team of ten specialized painters in America during the 1880's. The studio offices were in Milwaukee and the team produced various cycloramas of famous battles that had taken place during the Civil War. The team had done similar work in Germany depicting battle scenes of the Franco-Prussian War. |
